Chateau Martin
Located in the heart of the Medoc, this estate reveals all the authenticity of a family inheritance over three generations. Jean-Marc Martin skillfully combines his many talents in both the vineyard and the winery, showcasing his passion and producing outstanding wine.
The plots are located to the south of Saint-Estephe with mature vines averaging 25 years of age. Harvesting is conducted by hand and a sorting table ensures only the best quality grapes go into the vats. The traditional vinification with a long fermentation period is followed by 6 to 12 months of ageing in oak barrels.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 90 points saying “Ripe, spicy and with a good line of acidity, black-currant fruit and an aromatic character, this is a balanced wine. It is poised, with soft tannins that are well integrated into the wine’s structure. Drink from 2020.”
