Le Poiane Valpolicella Ripasso 2016
For those of you chasing down the Amarone we did recently – here’s the sister wine from the same producer. Le Poiane Valpolicella Ripasso.
A bouquet that includes notes of blackberry, plum and blueberry, made more sophisticated by spicy hints of cinnamon and cocoa. In the mouth, the notes of berries and lively tannins are immediately evident.
A wine with such a thick body is the perfect companion for red meats, game, cold cuts and hard cheeses.
