New Zealand Grass Fed Lamb – Whole Legs
¥462.00
There are a few outfits that have been knocking out legs of lamb over the last year or so. Most are locally sourced and prettied up. Some of them that we’ve seen are covered in freezer burns (because that’s what happens when meat spends 4 years in a freezer and isn’t airtight). Most are markets as “Legs of lamb for XXX” then find out that price is per kilo, you end up paying for an extra half a kilo of imaginary lamb that never existed and then the sting in the tail – charged for shipping.
The “amazing priced imported lamb” ends up being local goat at ¥200 a kilo all the charges are added together – many of us have been burnt on that hustle. Usually, a super friendly chap who was packing and peddling from his apartment. Never again.
Obviously, we don’t get involved in any of that nonsense and we won’t put our name to something that isn’t perfect. Which is why it’s taken until now to get lamb that we’re proud enough to sell.
So how about this:
2.5-kilos grass-fed imported New Zealand lamb leg. No phantom weights there. 2.5 kilos guaranteed.
¥462 rambos. Delivered. No sneaky shipping cost. 1 simple all in price. No 4-year-old meat – all of these were imported in Q4 2020 so they have between 15 months and 18 months left on the 2 years suggested life of frozen meat.
That work’s out to ¥185.80 a kilo DELIVERED. We’re going to repeat that because most of you are going to think that’s a typing error.
GRASS-FED, NEW ZEALAND LAMB LEGS – ¥184.40 a kilo delivered.
The delivery fee alone on that is ¥60-¥90, depending on where you are in China – so now you can see the amazing value.
