The fruitful relationship between man and the environment, between Beppino Occelli, the Langhe and alpine meadows, began and, above all, has continued and developed, in the name of milk.
Cow’s milk, sheep’s milk, or goat’s milk, but always good milk, because the final properties of the butter and cheeses are closely related to the goodness and freshness of the milk.
That is why Beppino Occelli’s “Milky Way” originates in Langa, goes on to Cuneo and finally up through the pastures in Castelmagno and Valgrana to reach Valcasotto where the best wheels of mountain cheeses finally rest and mature in the antique aging cellars. The gestures are the same as they have always been, matured by experience.
Beppino Occelli started his activities in the dairy business in 1976.
Beppino Occelli butter and cheese have always followed trends in taste, and in some cases have even anticipated them: from the famous Tuma dla Paja, to the rare Escarun, universally considered an authentic and inimitable delicacy.
Beppino Occelli’s agricultural company is at the feet of the Maritime Alps, but still in a mountainous region, at an altitude between 600 and 1,500 metres: alpine pastures, meadows, farms, woods and stables.
Beppino Occelli Butter is still moulded with the relief of a mountain symbol and, today as then, is hand-pressed, recalling the most genuine dairy and farming traditions.
